United BJJ Hawaii was created out of a strong passion, a shared vision and a relentless commitment to our community.

We believe in giving back to the community that raised us, instructed us, believed in us and propelled us to become world champions.

United BJJ Hawaii is a safe, clean and respectable environment where learning is easy and accessible. In addition to the development of motor coordination, physical health and self confidence, martial arts values ​​are essential in forming an individual's character.

Bruno was born and raised in Curitiba, Brazil. He started his jiu jitsu journey at the age of 14 and was extremely dedicated to the sport.

Pucci is a 2 time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu No Gi World Champion. He placed gold in the featherweight division at the 2009 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu No Gi World Championships and again, in the lightweight division at the 2010 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu No Gi World Championships.

At the age of 22, Bruno earned his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Shortly after that, he received the opportunity to move to Singapore where he spent the next 7 years teaching BJJ.

While teaching, Bruno was also competing in ONE Championship, Asia’s largest and most prestigious MMA organization. 

With over 15 years of experience, Bruno has now relocated to Oahu, Hawaii where he looks to share his knowledge and passion for Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

"Unstoppable" Angela Lee Pucci is a Canadian/ American mixed martial artist of Chinese-Singaporean and Korean ethnicity. 

Born in Vancouver, Angela moved to Hawaii at the age of 7. Her parents are both highly-decorated martial artists and they taught her ever since she could walk. She began training at a young age but competition is where she began to shine. Lee has competed in and won numerous Regional, National and World level martial arts competitions. Through hard work and perseverance, she also earned her black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at 21 years old.

"Unstoppable" is the youngest MMA World Champion in history for any major global MMA organization. She is currently the 5x ONE Women's Atomweight World Champion, as well as a 2-time Pankration World Champion and Hawaii Wrestling State Champion. 

Angela Lee Pucci has been a martial artist her whole life. She is a Professional MMA Fighter, Coach and ONE Championship Brand Ambassador. Although she still loves competing, she now finds the most joy in sharing her journey and experiences through coaching the next generation.

Maraya Miller


Coach Maraya Miller is a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a High School Wrestler, former Competitive Gymnast and a Pro MMA Fighter since 2021.

With two submission finishes and one Knockout victory she competed for Bellator and won the Hawaiian tryouts for Rizin Fighting Federation.
She also competed for Fight2Win and secured her victory via submission.
She was the first girl on Bonita Hight School Team winning awards such as Most Outstanding Wrestler in 2012 and Girls MVP 2013.

In addition to being a Mental Health Advocate and collector of titles in different sports, she completes the team of coaches at United BJJ Hawaii with her vast experience in training children since 2012 (in the modalities of BJJ, Wrestling, Kickboxing and Gymnastics).
